A ginormous green sea turtle was rescued today off of Key West! Good samaritans were enjoying a day of boating when they came across the marine turtle in distress. The turtle was entangled in a trap line in shallow water where she was found with a boat strike injury and missing a front flipper. The Turtle Hospital received the rescue call and enlisted the help of the USCG Key West Station and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
