Chunks is all you'll ever need to claim an area as your own. You can select a customisable amount of chunks to protect and keep chunk loaded.
There may be bugs in the GitHub repo that do not exist in the mod JAR file on Modrinth or CurseForge. If there is, please open an issue and I will resolve it.
