After relaunching its Area-51 brand with a new 16-inch laptop in 2025, Alienware is teasing two new laptops at CES 2026 in an attempt to reach an even larger audience. Dell's gaming brand plans to launch both entry-level and ultra-slim models later this year,
Alienware also notes that both the gaming laptops will pack the new Intel Core Ultra 200HX processor under the hood for top-notch performance. Meanwhile, the new display panels come with a 0.2ms response time, quick enough for buttery smooth gameplay, and 620 nits of peak HDR brightness.
Alienware just announced an all-new ultra-slim gaming laptop at CES 2026 that's set to arrive later this year, and it's 50% smaller than its current lineup of gaming machines.

As announced at CES 2026 (and revealed in a pre-briefing event held in New York), the panels feature a response time of 0.2 milliseconds, 15 times faster than before (3ms), WQXGA resolution (2,560 x 1,600), a 240Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 620 nits, and an anti-glare coating that reduces gloss by 32 percent.
But for now, its Area-51 and Aurora 16X laptops are getting new anti-glare OLED display options.
At CES 2026, Alienware refreshed its 16X Aurora and 16 Area-51 laptops, and unveiled new ultra-slim models featuring powerful specs and stunning anti-glare OLED displays.
Also, for the first time in a long time, Alienware is finally making an 'ultra-slim' gaming laptop.
Alienware gaming laptops have always been known for their power and sturdy engineering, but their screens have always kept them from the very top of my recommendation pile. While last year saw a number of brands embrace high-speed OLEDs in their best gaming laptops,
