The Golden State Warriors wouldn't have traded for Kristaps Porzingis if they didn't believe their medical staff could help him regularly take the court, coach Steve Kerr said Thursday.

"It's like the extreme version of standing up and feeling lightheaded."

Despite being available to return, Porzingis will not play against the Heat. The Hawks have ruled the Latvian out for the meeting with Miami due to illness, the team announced over an hour before the game.

Jonathan Kuminga was absent from the Golden State Warriors' lineup most of the last year. Kristaps Porzingis' rare bouts of health make for a variation on that theme.
