A man is dead after a house fire early Monday in Detroit.
Two people died over the last two days in a pair of house fires on Detroit's east side, officials said. The cause of both blazes is under investigation. City firefighters were called at about 5:20 a.m. Monday to a home in the 40 block of West Parkhurst Place near John R Street and McNichols Road for a report of a blaze, according to authorities.
