As announced by John DeMarsico on Twitter/x, the director of SNY broadcasts for the Mets, who brought incredible cinematography to the broadcast, will no longer be the director for SNY in 2026.
NBC Sports will rejoin the MLB broadcast list in 2026 with a host of Sunday games on the broadcast network and simulcast on subscription Peacock. Spanish-language Universo will broadcast all the NBC games. NBC will provide exclusive coverage of the entire MLB Wild-Card playoff round, with simulcasts on Peacock and NBC Sports Network.
They also be featured on May 3rd against the Minnesota Twins, May 24 against the Pittsburgh Pirates, May 31 against the Baltimore Orioles and July 19 against the Chicago White Sox as part of the new 'Sunday Leadoff' schedule, which features games at 12 p.m. ET, 12:30 p.m. ET, 3 p.m. ET or 4 p.m. ET.
